The typology test
Two parts. The first is a real, validated personality measure that other people built. The second is ours, and it is not validated. You get told which is which, all the way through.
Part 1: the Big Five, aspect level
The Big Five Aspect Scales: 100 items, ten aspects, two per trait. Published by DeYoung, Quilty and Peterson in 2007. The items come from the International Personality Item Pool and are in the public domain. We copied them exactly, we did not rewrite them.
Part 2: the judgment relatum
Fourteen situations, two ways to take each one. This is the one thing JCP claims as its own, and it has been tried on nobody. Treat the number it gives you as a proposal, not as a result.
What you get at the end
Your ten aspect scores with a band around each one, then those scores converted into the terms of the Jung Formal Language, each conversion labelled exact, partial or loose. You also get told what did not convert in either direction: what the Big Five measures that Jung has no word for, and what Jung has that no questionnaire can reach. There is no four-letter type at the end. There never will be.
Where your answers go
Nowhere. Everything stays in this browser, in local storage, so you can close the tab and pick up where you left off. There is no account, no server, no analytics on your answers, and nobody (including me) can see them. Clearing your browser data deletes them for good.
