Most discussions about the extent to which AI will automate human labor will increasingly converge on the part of requirements elicitation that AI fundamentally cannot overtake.

In short: AI will be able to automate most cognitive problems, but it cannot fully identify and select all the problems it should solve. There will always be a human translation layer, one that may shrink to a minimum, but not to zero.
