Goals
A
A formal language for Jung's dictionary
Turn CW6's Dictionary of Analytical Psychology into JFL: one record per term, defined before use, checkable by machine.
Boundary: That chapter. Nothing else in CW6, nothing from outside it.

Link Jung's typology to current science
Two attitudes and four functions, as Jung defined them, converted term by term to constructs science can measure, with each fit stated.
Boundary: Six constructs only. Jung, not MBTI: no 16 types, no letters, no stacks.
Two goals, not two stages. Neither waits on the other.
Principles

Strict Jung definitions. Jung's definition governs, including where the modern word has drifted. Anything JCP adds is said out loud, never smuggled in.

Introversion and extraversion are Jung's. Direction of libidoᴶ, toward object or subject. Big Five extraversion is a different construct that borrowed the word. Translation, never a contest.

Filled gaps are marked. A raised ᴮ = added by JCP, with a record of what was missing. A raised ᴶ = false friend (feelingᴶ is valuation, not emotion).

A polarity, answered per situation. T/F, S/N and I/E are single axes, as Jung has them. But you answer per situation, and both and neither are real answers.

The output is a range, not a letter. A box per polarity: middle = tendency, width = how much the situation moves you, overlap with the other pole = the part nobody ever shows.

Jung Range. The test. All 8 function-attitudes measured separately, four answers per item (either pole, both, neither), nothing leaves your browser. Being reworked: no type code, no MBTI stack, ranges out.

Where it stands
- •JFL: 84 term records under a closure linter, 28 of them anchored to a named Dictionary entry. Roughly half the chapter.
- •Typology links: 10 conversions and 3 declared gaps in the repo, now being re-checked against the six constructs.
- •Jung Range measures the eight function-attitudes the right way, then collapses them into a four-letter code at the last step. The code and the borrowed stack come out; the ranges go in.
- •Withdrawn: the old typology test (it administered a Big Five item bank), the observer swap, and the old epub.
Not in scope
- ×MBTI, the 16 types, function stacks as categories.
- ×Ranking Jung against the Big Five, or against anything.
- ×CW6 outside the Dictionary chapter, for the language.
- ×Collecting anyone's responses. Instruments store nothing.
